Pondicherry is memorable for so much more than photograph's. Most of all we will miss the happy ambitious Tamil people we met.

Serenity Beach. One of hundreds of Bay of Bengal fishing communities. Our home for a month now, a staycation so very far from home.

Now settled in Pondi. In this blog I shall confront my own (prejudiced) low expectations of Indian food hygiene.

I haven't managed to get footage that shows the pant soiling terror of driving here. But perhaps driving is a metaphor for life in India.

Settling in in Pondi. Puducherry. South east India. Culture shock is gradually subsiding and we are establishing a lazy and lovely routine.

Please think of this blog as a toasted open shit sandwich. Which, come to think of it, is actually a pretty good analogy for India.
